Things worked out rather well, did they not? Hillary doesn’t seem to be pouting. She is, after all, in charge of the World.

It’s still too soon to tell (for me at least) what impact Obama will have. I still think that Hillary would have made a better president, but I’m not going to complain about the position she has now.

Well, Hillary is one tough woman. I think she would have been great. If I would have been allowed to vote, I would probably have voted for her.

She can still become the president.

I admire both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. I ended up voting for Hillary in the California primary because I was not sure Obama was ready. But I thought he had great promise, and I wouldn’t have minded a Hillary-Obama ticket at all. As it is, I’m very pleased with Obama’s performance, and, I have come to believe he probably has the better temperament to be President, and to deal with the warring factions.

I’m delighted that he chose Hillary as Secretary of State, though. I think she’s going to be fantastic. I’m not surprised that Hillary and Obama work very well together. I always believed that, in spite of the bitter primary campaign, they were really pretty much on the same page.

I’m in the UK so obviously my opinion wasn’t important at the time but I was in favour of Hillary. However, from what I have seen (and I really only have the news to inform me of such things) I think Obama has the potential to do a wonderful job and only time will tell if he does or not. Like others on here I am glad that Hillary is Secretary of State and I do still believe she would have done a good job as president but I have no gripes about Obama.

I’m mostly just happy that a liberal (well, comparatively speaking!) won, but I still think Hillary might have been more proactive. Not that Barack hasn’t done anything, he’s making all the previous presidents look like total layabouts, but Hillary had/has sick connections in Washington and I think she would have been all about using them to her advantage to get shit DID, and did QUICK. I think maybe Barack thinks things through a little too much, but that’s just me. Due to this though, I do feel quite sure that he’s always 100% sure of his decisions by the time they’re made public, and they’re probably gonna be on the money.

I’m still waiting to see what happens. I’ve voted for both Republicans and Democrats as well as Independents in past elections. Remember, the president isn’t the one with the power, that is Congress.

After Dubya, a semi-retarded chimp with ADHD would look good as president.

I love Obama and supported him in the election (who couldn’t love a guy who called Kanye West a jackass?), but now I’m wondering whether Hillary might have been able to get health care rolling more effectively. Obama has to defend his plan from poisonous criticism that seems directed more at the man himself, and while some of that would have undoubtedly come around to Hillary as well, she seem to be better at deflecting that sort of thing.

I think that Hillary, having had experience fucking it up, would probably have done a better job with health insurance reform. She has probably learned so much more, strategically speaking, than Obama or his team know.
