What is the best task manager for mac?

Asked by rguest (201points) October 30th, 2009

I am looking for a task manager and to-do list app for my mac and iphone. I have done alot of research, and cannot settle on something. I like things alot, but it doesn’t sync through mobileme which drives me crazy. The closest I’ve come is http://www.simpletaskapp.com/home.html but it doesn’t tell me what is due today. Any suggestions?

Things is what I have.
The Hit List is also good.

Things has an iPhone app, and The Hit List iPhone app is on its way.

@wenn thats part of my frustration though. I like things, but it doesn’t sync over mobilme, dealbreaker. And I don’t want to wait around for the hit list. I need something now.

Try the combination of Google Calendar and Remember The Milk. They bothe work together, and so do their phone apps.

Vitalist is online. http://www.vitalist.com/ . It emulates rather well the GTD system. Just keep all your stuff online and try it.

@rguest whats wrong with just syncing via wireless?

Strongly recommend HiTask although they are pretty tardy at getting their i-aps sorted properly They allow projects , tasks, (most importantly also sub-tasks), Diary and sharing. Surprised not to have seen more mentioned in these articles. (and no I do not work for them they annoy me but are the best I have come across for team working and many other things)
