Tagging someone by name to my status in Facebook...

Asked by jenandcolin (2301points) December 8th, 2009

Can anyone tell me how to tag someone’s name to my status/wall post in facebook? I have seen it before where someone writes a post and tags someone’s name to it (the name becomes like a link- I think it’s in a different color). I would appreciate it!

@jenandcolin I am convinced that they copied Fluther. I think that Twitter copied Fluther, too.

@buckyboy28 I agree. It’s because Fluther is awesome. Does Twitter work in a similar way (I haven’t been on Twitter)

@jenandcolin Yep. Nearly identical. It is used to post tweets on other people’s feeds.
