How do you change a link in a Pulsar watch band?

there is arrows on the band and what looks like a lock at the top

Most watch bands require a little jewelry tool…

I take my watches to a jewelry store and pay them $5.00 to take out my link(s) , as the case may be.

Let a jeweler complete this task. if you do not know what you are doing, you can ruin the band and a new one will cost you a lot more than letting an expert change the link.
