Women men too I guess, would you find the Shake Weight useful in anyway? (NSFW)

Asked by Axemusica (9500points) January 2nd, 2010

Shake Weight exercise equipment.

Idiocracy in the making? Does this piece of equipment look like it would useful in your daily exercise? Do you find this piece of equipment comically inappropriate?

What’s your take on it? Do you feel you would ever be able to utilize this tool? Do you think this tool is an effective way to exercise for what it’s advertised as?

I think if I used it wearing a tight pair of leather shorts, nipple tassles and hot pink lipstick, and made moaning noises as it jiggled, it might get me a job in a peep show.

I find it interesting that one of the supposed selling points of these new weight loss inventions is that they are “less work” than traditional machines and free weights. What the people who buy these things don’t realize is that the whole point of exercising is exactly that: to work.

They don’t say “no pain, no gain” for nothing.

Hahahahaha!

No, it’s not effective. You have to actually work the biceps and triceps. The only way to get arms like that is weight training and military-style push-ups.

I use Free Weights. I do not think it would be very effective. I do not believe it would actually tone muscles.

So you mean all these years I wasn’t making God cry, but I was actually exercising? Neat!

Im sure that exercise sure is tiring. In the next model they should build in a little water bottle that can shoot water in your mouth when you get dehydrated.
