General Question

My Macbook is not starting up correctly. It will get to the blue screen with the apple and the loading thing underneath it, but does nothing after that but keep restarting. what do i do?

Did you recently apply an upgrade to the OS or install new software? Also, how old is this computer?

Hold down Shift when you restart. You will boot into “Safe Mode” and things will look a bit odd. If it works reboot again and things should be OK.

If that fails reboot while holding down “Command” and “V” at the same time. That will bring you into Verbose mode and should help pinpoint the error. Let me know what the error is if safe mode didn’t work.

Is this unit under warrantee? I love talking to the apple geniouses! They are neat :-)
