Can anyone point me towards other food blogs like these?

Here are two examples:

Guy loses girlfriend, lives alone for the first time, pantry mostly empty. How cheap can he eat for a month?

Teacher, showing you what’s for school lunch every day and how it is.

http://foodirl.com/
Comparing how food looks in real life compared to the packaging and how it tastes.

Here is what I’m looking for. I want it to be fun. No diet blogs.
The two above they are eating that way for mostly a pet project it’s not a necessity.
I am open to sites that have people attempting food challenges. Like eat everything on a dollar menu.
Reviews of food are fine too, but not general reviews of a restaurant or something.

If someone touring around eating weird stuff or hometown originals that’s cool.
Or is someone is trying out all those snacks you never thought of buying, I think that’s interesting as well.

If you post a blog, please give me a short description of what it’s about.

Cakewrecks is pretty good. They feature professional cakes gone “horribly, hilariously wrong”. Sometimes they post really beautiful cakes, too.

Oh yeah I’ve seen that, it’s a nice site.

I read Appetite. It’s written by a food photographer. She gives recipes with beautiful photographs of the process, step by step, and she write about some of her assignments, with before and after shots. She also seems to do a lot of traveling, and there are a lot of photos of foods from around the world.

CooktoBang is hilarious. It explains itself.

Grub Report is also good and is extremely well designed. Food criticism as well.

http://idinealone.blogspot.com/ – I Dine Alone – about cooking meals that serve one or two.
