Does Facebook really prohibit this sort of thing? Seems like a waste of energy.
Should we not be allowed to display ourselves upside down if we want to?
If Facebook has a problem with this, it sounds like a big reason to not use Facebook.

Short answer: Yes

Wait, are you saying Facebook doesn’t allow upside down/perpendicular pictures?! Because that is very strange. What if the picture was taken that way? Or what if the person tilted their head to the side?

They’re annoying. But not allowed? Are you freaking kidding?

—No, of course not! Upside down or perpendicular avatars are unnatural, they’re an abomination! They shouldn’t be allowed anywhere. If upside down or perpendicular avatars are allowed on even just one website, the next thing you know people will be demanding, marching in the streets, with signs, and making all sorts of racket, because now they believe they should be able to marry goats or copy machines, or God know what! They’ll be no end to it.__

@lillycoyote <3 for that response.

I personally had an perpendicular Facebook photo for quite a while, I liked it. I also had one with some funhouse filters on it. Annoying to others? Maybe, but they don’t have to look at it.

@Jennifries You had a perpendicular Facebook photo, for quite a while? And now I bet you’re writing your Congressman and Senator trying to get them to support legislation that will allow you to marry your neighbors’ ferret or maybe that cute little vole in the woodpile in your backyard, or perhaps your garage door opener? Because it’s always there when you need it? Of course! I knew it. Perpendicular avatars are a gateway image to all the other image abominations and crimes against nature!
