Has anyone got any good ideas for a church community outreach?

Community clean-ups are cool! You can usually make a party out of it, too, so it’s fun and good work. A great thing to teach kids!

Also now that spring is almost here (here at least – I don’t know where you live) a community vegetable garden is also fun, educational and rewarding..nothing like picking a warm strawberry, ripe tomato or fresh ear of corn…lettuce, peas are easy.

Where I live it is Hot. My church last summer passed out cold water bottles to people on the street, passing by, just at random. I think it went over very well. Nobody turned down any chilled water. :)
