Would you recommend this particular cruise with the Grand Princess ship?

My parents are planning a trip in Europe on this ship. The problem is they were told it was an old ship, about 1998.

A year ago they were on one of the largest ship in the world called Emerald Princess cruise ship and had a wonderfull time. Can anyone recommend?

I would not worry about the ship being built in 1998. I have used Princess lines several times, they are very conscientious about maintenance. Most ships are built to have a 20 year minimum life.

I have been on their older ships and a nearly brand new one. I didn’t notice any significant differences.

The longer they can use the ship the less they have to charge per cruise to recoup the cost.
