Welcome to Fluther! Add topics to your profile, what you’re interested in. Like, horses, cars, love, idk whatever.

There are no set categories, there is a search box in the upper right corner that goes by searchable keywords. There are no ‘levels’. Check out the FAQ.

Categories are kind of a joke, actually. So are levels and badges, in fact. (Search is a bad joke.)

In fact, half of the questions are jokes, and half of the answers to serious questions are also jokes. (Of the other half of all answers to serious questions, half of those are jellies arguing with each other about whether the other was serious or not, or attacking the questioner for even asking.)

But welcome to Fluther! Have fun with it anyway. We do.

OTOH, if you can make original puns using the names of fish, W-eelcome.

@Gemini: Just be sure not to snap at any apparently stray worms floating around. And yes, welcome.

@CyanoticWasp Gad zooks! There is something fishy about what you are saying, better clam up or some spineless jelly fish might give you a whale of a problem LOL LOL LOL

@gemiwing: For the record, and because it is the most important fact here, @Sarcasm is taking my name in vain. I am the resident smarty cat and rule the roost (and even know what a mixed metaphor is).Love, Milo http://tinypic.com/m/2lvtr8/2

[mod says] Let’s get back to the topic, folks.

@Gemini Welcome to Fluther! The best way to get a feel for the place is to read the guidelines and browse around. If you have any specific questions, feel free to send me a comment. I’ll be happy to help you out.

@Gemini Hi, welcome to Fluther. Please don’t be put off by all the craziness here, some folk just can’t resist a good joke – all meant in good humour!

Have a browse through some questions before you start asking, that would be my advice. Take your time, have a read, then take the plunge – there’s no real secret to it. Have fun!

@bob_ Come on! The Q was answered already with a link to the FAQ’s. I think the rest is helpful in that it gives the OP a sense of what this community is like.
@Gemini Welcome to the collective!
