How do i edit a response?

You can, obviously, only edit your own questions and responses, but then only for a certain time after you put it here (i think it is about three to five minutes).
Below your question/answer you can find the word edit this response, underlined.
After this some minutes it’ll disappear though and then you can not edit it anymore yourself, although i believe you can ask a moderator if changes still can be made.

@rebbel is correct. You can edit your own stuff for a very brief time after you’ve posted it. If that time has passed, and you have an important change to make, flag your question or answer and give the mods a note about it. If you need any help, feel free to contact me or any of the other moderators.

Is there any way to tell which moderators are on line and free to communicate?

@eden2eve :: Your best bet is the chatroom. There is usually at least one in there. Look for the people with the star by their name.
