What are the best romance novels to read?

Asked by Soccer129 (64points) July 26th, 2010

I have already read The Notebook and The Birth of Venus, so none of those. But any other ones would be nice!

Have you read any romantic suspense? Like The Moonspinners by Mary Stewart?

You seriously need to read some Jane Austen, if you haven’t already. I personally would recommend Persuasion, but hey, I’m a man, what would I know.

The Sookie Stackhouse series that the show True Blood is based on. The writer is Charlaine Harris. My husband has read almost all of them and says they are basically sexy romance novels.
