I thought it was Gomez…

Charles was the cartoonist that created them. Gomez was her husband.

Aw, Gomez. John Astin as Gomez on the 1960s series for the win. A bit creepy, yet sexy at the same time. I think it was because he just let his über-romantic freak flag fly and his adoration of Morticia was so endearing.
