Cheap tickets to Rome?

Asked by TheGreenBrideGuide (178points) September 5th, 2010

Looking for cheap flights to Rome. We are flexible in terms of leaving (almost anytime in Oct or Nov). Which search engine is the best at looking at a wide range of airports and dates?

My friend and I actually found our “cheap tickets” to Rome through Cheaptickets.com. We got a really great deal on our flight but that was about 5 years ago. Still, check them out.

As a member of AAA, we found the cheapest European tickets through their travel service.

For a local trip, California to South Dakota, we checked all the ‘cheap’ sites, and found the same price direct from the airline.

Use Kayak. It searches all of the airlines and all of the other websites including Cheaptickets. Plus you can check out their graphs and see when the cheapest time to fly is.

I agree with Chels – I find Kayak to be a really easy and good site to use.
