Have you ever clicked on the You're the 999,999th visitor and if yes, what happened?

Asked by zen_ (6281points) September 8th, 2010

I just got one at eHow. I know it’s not real because I checked again and again. I think they are all full of shit anyway – and I wouldn’t touch any of them with a 10 foot usb cable.

No, I’m not that stupid. And I’d imagine you’d get cyber-raped if you ever followed through with one of them.

Nope, I’ve never even been curious about it. I did respond to an inquiry from a Nigerian organization with a suicide note one time though. I never heard back from them. I guess they didn’t really care after all.

Oh, you just need to click on three of our sponsor sites to claim your prize!

The thing is, most of those things are real – that is, you can get a free iPod, you just have to buy a Gevalia coffee pot, sign up for an American Express card, and sign up for a 2-week trial of Proactiv acne cream.

My head blew off & out flew a spaceship carrying Mickey Rooney. Who I later found had been adopted as their spiritual leader. I know, unbelievable right?
