I need to add some weight to my frame, any suggestions?

I know it’s a nice problem to have, but apparently I overdid the excercise thing on vacation. I noticed I dropped a belt notch but didn’t think too much about it. I was walking a lot and swimming between 800 and 1200 meters a day. I was to the doctor a few weeks ago and I’m in the low 150’s. At 6’1” there’s not much in the way of reserves if I need them. I do some light weights, lots of walking, golf etc. I like being lean but this is a little light. Any other ideas?

Protien protien protien.

Protein combined with calories and weight lifting. You’ve been doing aerobic work outs, they cut fat but don’t do much as far as building muscle.

A consistent diet of frozen pizzas, Doritos and Mountain Dew. Combine that with a job in IT and you’ll be all set. Lord knows it worked for me

@GladysMensch I know how to do that one. I want the weight on the frame, not the gut. :)

I’ve been trying to do the same thing for years now. I just have a crazy metabolism. What I’ve been doing is trying to eat a lot of calories and protein. I even have protein powder I mix with milk after a good workout. I also have been trying to lift a lot of weights. Don’t do light weights, lift heavier weights as much as you can. Lifting light weights will only build lean muscle, heavy weights will build more, thicker muscle.

My husband has that problem. I helped him gain weight by making him three hard boiled eggs and peanutbutter and honey sandwiches everyday. He gained 15 pounds. He is or was 135 and 6’3 now he is 150 pounds. Yeah! Good luck!

@Frenchfry I was thinking if that’s what you feed him to help him gain what would you feed him to make him lose weight or if you were angry with him.

Pepperoni pizza and dark beer. For dessert fruit cake and milk shakes. Worked for buddy of mine. That was the FOURTH meal of the day.

@Tropical_Willie I love pizza and beer, but I also watch my cholesterol pretty close. I want to enjoy the added weight on the right side of the grass. :)

Maybe we could trade brains? All I’m ever hungry for is grains and meat. lol.
