Have you ever tried to force flowering bulbs and how did you fare?

Have you ever forced flowering bulbs like tulips, lilles, crocus, etc? You plant the bulbs in containers during normal planting time, expose them to cold temperatures and then bring them inside in January or February and enjoy the flowers during the winter months. It’s a great way to get a jump on spring.

Yes, I love paper white narcissus. Also, hyacinths. in both cases, because of the fragrance.

@marinelife I love the smell of hyacinths.

I have started hyacinths and sequoia indoors…I’ve been much more successful with the hyacinth
