How do you define, or what makes something, it can be anything you want, hot?

Asked by Adirondackwannabe (36713points) January 19th, 2011

I was PMing with someone and after I sent the message it took me to their avatar as usual, and I was stopped in my tracks. The picture they had put in just screamed hot, but I couldn’t put my finger on why. What makes something hot? It’s kind of like obscenity. I can’t define it but I know it when I see it. What makes something hot to you?

Was it Vunessuh’s avatar? Because I would define it as hot.

This time it was lucille’s, but that would also work. As I think about it, there’s a heck of a lot of them that would work.

I think there’s always a level of confidence in what I find hot – it’s different, it’s new, it don’t care what you think about it. It’s “hot.”

Do you mean like sexy hot? Because otherwise, I’d say cayenne. Ha ha.

Something is hot because that’s your gut reaction to it. Dark haired men who need a shave wearing white tees and normal jeans on a yahoo body, mmm hmmm.

2. old “i dream of jeanie” episodes
3. “three’s company”
4. leggy news weather chicks on “big three” networks
5. soap opera chicks

What makes something hot to me? When something produces that… sensation in your chest that floats up to your head and curls your mouth into a coy smile. It’s akin to how the smell of food produces hunger.
