Would you take on a common set of topics for Fluther?

Asked by Vincentt (8094points) April 26th, 2008

Just wondering, perhaps it’d be an idea to find a few common categories of questions (e.g. “technology”, “fluther”, “love”, “entertainment”) that everybody would use in addition to the topics they normally assign to their questions. That way, one could perhaps filter certain questions on Fluther on those common categories. Would you participate?

Yes and no. I can see the usefulness of having categories, however, since everyone asking may interpret how to classify the Q slightly differently, you may miss out on interesting Q’s if you don’t look in all categories…..I kinda like that it’s all in the one group. One Q is political, the next musical and the next again social….a lot to be said for the mix/randomness of the types of questions that come up.
