5 songs that have gotten you up off your feet to dance even if you're normally "not a dancer"?

You guys are great with feedback. I’m going to go ahead with karaoke at my backyard wedding.

Now I need a playlist!

I can only think of one.

And it’s “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees.

Pretty much any Michael Jackson song gets me dancing. I can actually do everything in this montage of Dangerous and Smooth Criminal (dancing starts about 1 min into the video). Back in the day, I even won a couple awards for the routine. Good times. :)

Any ways, other than MJ songs, there are so many that make me want to dance. I’ll try to keep the list short:

Brick House by The Commodores.
Dancing in the Streets by Martha & The Vendellas.
Gonna Make You Sweat by C & C Music Factory.
I’ve Got the Power by Snap.
Mambo No. 5 by Lou Bega.
Footloose by Kenny Loggins.
Swing the Mood by Jive Bunny & The Mastermixers.
You Can Leave Your Hat On by Tom Jones (or the original by Joe Cocker).
Shoop by Salt N Pepa.
I Feel Good by James Brown.
Express Yourself by Charles Wright & the Watts 103rd Street Rhythm Band.
Cream by Prince.
I Wish by Stevie Wonder.
Walk Like An Egyptian by the Bangles.
Sweet Dreams by the Eurythmics.

(sigh) Ok there’s too many.

Thanks all. What I ended up doing was going through every year’s top 100 hits between the years he & were born til the present, picking what I liked. I then went through my last.fm library and picked what I thought was fun for all. iTunes will play about 5hrs of “happy” music now, yay.
