Where can I find a photo of a child's empty bedroom?

Asked by Supacase (14563points) July 16th, 2011

I can’t believe I am having so much trouble finding this!

Have you heard of the “take it all away” approach of discipline? Empty the child’s room of everything other than bare essentials. I think maybe it was a Dr. Phil thing?

I need a picture to use as an example of what parents are required to provide as opposed to all of the extras most parents also give their children.

Have you done a google image search? Might have to play with the terms but I am sure you will find something that works.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by empty? Technically be definition a room is not designated as a specific type of room until it is furnished or decorated to suit its purpose in this case a “child’s bedroom” so any picture of an empty room such as this one “could” be a child’s empty bedroom :)

Required to provide? A bed. What else are they required to provide? If you can tell us the requirements, I can help find a picture better.

I took my daughter’s dresser away from her for 6 months because she wouldn’t stop emptying everything onto the floors. She survived easily. The only thing she had in her room at that time was a bed, a shelf and her gerbil.

@chyna I apologize for posting it without your permission.

@blueiiznh You’ll be happy you have pillows, encased in platic covers.
