What song makes you flip out dancing around in public?

Asked by Supacase (14563points) July 31st, 2011

Diana Ross Up Side Down. It came on the radio and my daughter, who was about 18 months, started wiggling and jiggling and giggling in her carseat. We car danced through the whole song.

Now it is a must no matter where we are.

I rarely dance in public but I’d go with any good R & B.

Gonna have to go with Home again on that one.

Don’t play Zombie Nation while I’m in public. My hair is long enough to make anyone hangin with me look like asses, besides me. :D

However, Cotton Eye Joe from The Rednex has the same effect on me. Been freakdancing to that shit since before times were born, man.

The “Y.M.C.A.” usually gets me going.

Michael Jackson’s “Smooth Criminal”. When I hear that song, I want to dance and gyrate like one of those cool smooth criminals in MJ’s entourage.

When I listen to any opera music in public, I want to spontaneously burst into ballet.

Almost any of the early Bruce Springsteen songs, “Bronw Sugar” by the Rolling Stones and “Proud Mary” by Tina Turner.

No song is capable of that.

As I’ve pleaded many times before, if any of you see me dancing in public I am in the middle of a blackout and you need to get me home.

Don’t Stop Me Now by Queen. How can anyone not go a little dance-crazy to this song?

I Ambien typed this last night. Surprised me this morning when I saw I asked a question.

@Pied_Pfeffer and here is a nice little dance to go with Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.

Interpretive dance at its best and very funny. Link

Watch his other dances too.

@Bellatrix You are a very devious person. As much as I would like to say that the link is sacrilegious in memory of Freddie Mercury, it was highly entertaining. And now bedtime will be postponed while the other links to this guy’s acts are viewed. Shame on you.

:D I love Freddie too. I think he would approve!
