It's the beginning of the end of the world - but not Armageddon-style with nukes and floods and hurricanes; so what subtle incident would signify the end of the world for you?

Asked by zensky (13418points) October 14th, 2011

How would you know it’s the end of the world as we know it?

Now try to get that song out of your head.

A subtle end signaling the end of the world would be something like the trees failing to bud in the spring. Of course, that might not be very subtle, but I think it would take time to make the news.

When half of the 50 states [redacted], that would be the beginning of the end.

It’s time I have some time alone and I feel fine.
