People who had Halloween rescheduled, are you going to take your kids on the make up day?

Or is it too much of a fiasco at this point?

What? Halloween was rescheduled? Where?

There were some areas around here that had their trick-or-treating postponed because of the weather and safety concerns. If we lived in that area, I’d take my son out on the day it was rescheduled. Luckily our town didn’t postpone it.

Nov. 5 is the new date for most of my state.

Okay, I’ve never heard of Halloween being rescheduled before.

That’s a new one on me. When I was a child in Denver, we went trick or treat no matter what the weather, including one year in a blinding snow storm.

Yep. We just got our power back – still no internet.
The halloween cancellation had nothing to do with snow. There were – and still are – live wires down everywhere. More than 90% of my town was without power on Monday, the roads were littered with live wires and blocked by downed trees. My kids get to go out this weekend

@tom_g Oh, yes, of course. I just saw the news.

You guys haven’t been in the Northeast. We have towns wiped off the map by floods, trees down from snow, power outages, and live wires on the ground. You want to send your kids out in that?
