Is this literally the best prank to ever be played on Yahoo?

Asked by NerdyKeith (5489points) April 30th, 2016

Some prankster decided to place a false ad on Craigslist and I have to say I find it rather humorous to say the least. The ad has put the Yahoo company and premises up for sale. Where was the ad placed on Craigslist? In the antiques section of course.

The ad reads:

“A rare find, this one-of-a-kind Internet original is now available to the public for a limited time

A beautiful piece in good-to-fair condition, showing some signs of wear but easily restored in the hands of the right person. Sadly, the original owners can no longer maintain it.”

Do you think this practical joke is a rude awakening for Yahoo?

I don’t they need that ad to tell them they are in trouble but it is a clever joke.

I’m still pissed about what they did to del.icio.us

At least flickr is taking longer to kill.
