@elbanditoroso – Are you a good driver?

elbanditoroso's avatar

@lucillelucillelucille yes. I’m cautious, and pragmatic when I drive. Not aggressive.

Not at all but I’ve discovered that I am brave when I need to be.

lucillelucillelucille's avatar

@janbb -That’s what counts,IMO.

@lucillelucillelucille Yup. I would doubt that anyone is completely fearless.

I have a t-shirt that writes “fearless” on it.
I rarely wear it.

@rebbel – If I’m cooking,my guests need that shirt.

In the past I was fearless and reckless, now, not so much. Age and bad joints have slowed me down a bit.

Generally, yes. I chose not to live my life in fear a long time ago. For a shy kid, it was a pretty major life change that has served me well (except for the last thread, where I almost died a whole lot of times haha.)

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha…<hiccup>
I’m into self preservation & would legit toss a toddler into a shark’s gaping gob if it meant I survived it’s attack.

Always laugh watching Braveheart when he gives that rousing “freedom” speech right before charging bare arsed into battle. Mate, i’d run in the opposite direction & hide in my hut sucking my thumb til all the nastiness was over.

I have things I worry about, but I guess it depends on how you define “fear”. Are we talking about being afraid of physical things such as falling or spiders or fire? Are we talking about not being afraid to try new things? Are we talking about emotional fears such as losing a loved one?

seawulf575's avatar

I’m not really scared of physical things, so I guess I am fearless there. Trying new things is exciting so I’m not fearless there either. I don’t want to lose loved ones, but I don’t fret about it all the time and I understand that death is, so I guess I’m fearless there.

I’d say it depends on what we’re referring to.

I am cautious and prudent, and really don’t like to gamble (gamble in reference to life, in addition to gamble in reference to money).

As a driver, I tend to be not fearful although I am wary of other drivers being stupid.

If I had to fight or cross a rickety bridge over a ravine or something like that, I would be fearful.

I have been there.

There was a FB set of “interview” questions to ask your kids. I gave it to my 6 year old Zoey.

“What are you afraid of?”
She said, “Nothing.” Lord help us all.
