My sister told me our local store is fully stocked, except toilet paper.

I went to Walmart Saturday when they opened at 7 before any number of people were there and they had it freshly stocked and cleaned. I got everything I needed including hand sanitizer. TP was still sold out but there was a four pack at the register where someone tried to buy more than two packs. Needless to say it went home in my cart. Paper towels were scare too. That will be the last trip for at least a few weeks.

Almost all the breakfast meats are gone, most of the deli meats are gone. Breads are mostly gone, although there is plenty of sourdough baguettes. That all happened today like people were stocking up for the week ahead.

Isopropyl alcohol is sold out in every store I’ve been to, or checked online.

Last time I was there they were out of TP and paper-towels. Plumbers must be thrilled everyone is jacking up their pipes and septic tanks flushing paper-towels.

But they had chicken but no ground beef. Which is the opposite of how it was the other day. But it turns out my sister has a ton of ground beef in the basement freezer so no worries there. Spaghetti sauce will be made.

But overall it is pretty normal. A little busier than usual but no real signs of hoarding food.

The frozen food sections were almost completely empty.

Bread, tp, cleaning products and the entire freezer section. Some of the urban folks are hitting our bedroom communities.

Toilet paper is gone.
There’s an endless supply of green veggies.

Flour apparently. It must take a lot to make a beagle! (See Jeruba’s question.)

Bog roll, pasta, hand sanitiser & children’s cough meds.
Tons of condoms still, no one having sex…explains the lack of toilet paper though :D

Well, it took us 2 days to find toilet paper. Other than that, it seems everything is pretty normal.

Last I was at the store so many things were cleared out. Meats, paper products/TP, produce was gone, bread is hard to find. Isopropyl alcohol, hand sanitizer. Flour. Eggs.

The canned goods are picked over but not gone, so that’s a plus. Dairy products seem okay except for eggs.

Last night I was in Costco and Walmart. Costco had a lot of toilet paper and paper towels. Walmart had none. Whole aisle was empty. Costco had lots of hand soap. Walmart, I didn’t check but last time I was there the hand soap aisle was pretty bare. I found rubbing alcohol at Costco last week. Walmart has had none at all for weeks.

Makes me happy I pay for my Costco membership, which is free after my cash back (last year I got over 500 dollars back and the Executive membership is 120 a year).
