Blown away but not in a good way was wolfburgers.
My mom made a hamburger/meatball thing that tasted like dirt.My brother called them wolfburgers and the name stuck.
As for something good. that would probably be something sweet.
Do you want the recipe for wolfburgers?

Yes, venison. My family raised cattle and chickens, so we didn’t have many hunters. Once I tasted venison loin, I was hooked.

@lucillelucillelucille Yeah, I need to know now, with that name…haha!

@KNOWITALL -Meat+Dirt+Sawdust+Fire+Catsup
Form into balls about the size of baseballs
Put some salt on that.
Lightly back over them with a truck -Lightly!
Burn up over a fire source and slather with catsup.
Last but not least…
Be the envy of all your friends!
Ta-da!
You don’t have to thank me:)

@lucillelucillelucille haha! Sounds…interesting. My mom made swedish meatballs as well as porcupine meatballs (with rice in them.) I assume yours was similar to her ‘rough batches’ ha!

The first time I had great watermelon. It remains one of my favorite foods. I’d choose it over ice cream in many situations (and that’s saying something).

@KNOWITALL -It was just plain gross. Meatloaf (aka Meatcake) was the worst followed by wolf burgers, stuffed peppers and chop suey. Hate it all to this day. lol

@lucillelucillelucille That recipe makes me think your voice must be like that of Barry White after tasting those wretched ballburgers :D
@KNOWITALL I love venison, my mum went to the butchers years ago with the intention of buying a couple, money was tight however so they were too dear XD

Jamaican oxtails with rice and peas, cooked by a Jamaican chef at a a tobacco camp in Connecticut. One of my friends’ father was an executive for Consolidated Tobacco (Dutch Masters cigars). We would go over in the afternoon shortly before the dinner for the chance to sample what was for dinner. The bulk of the laborers were migrant farm workers from Latin America and the West Indies. I was 14 years old.
I remember it like it was yesterday, we walked over 4 miles from my house to get to the dorms and kitchen.

They are a Rae find now, but a candy called Bun. I love the maple ones. There is also vanilla, which is fine, but I prefer maple. It is a chocolate covered peanut cluster with a cream filling.
