Warm and clear. Very little snow, and some ice on the street.

Mild weather here in Tacoma. Temperatures in the 40”s degrees F. Hardling any wind but lots on love level fog. Went canoe paddling on American Lake yesterday afternoon and the fog was so thick. Lost sight of the back a couple time. Don’t like to paddle two close to shore to avoid logs.

Yesterday my weather was beautiful the first part of the day. Sunny, and maybe high 60’s-70°F? We left at 1:00pm to drive to my inlaws, and over by them it was warmer, overcast, and actually drizzled a little. I’m still at my inlaws and the weather says today is supposed to be some sun peaking through, dry, and low 70’s.

Christmas Eve is supposed to be sunny, high of 78°, and most likely won’t rain, we’ll see if that changes. We celebrate Christmas on Christmas Eve. We drive home on the 25th, which looks like it might rain the whole way. I hope not. 3.5–4 hour drive.

Cool, only into the mid 50’s, but clear and sunny. Christmas Day is supposed to be sunny and mid 60’s.

4 degrees, with a high of 11 in the next 10 days. So, way to warm, and no snow.

The weather has been wet and windy and mild for the time of year, 47 today but 50 the day before and forecast to rise to 52 on Christmas Eve.

Flood watch in many parts of Southern California.

@LadyMarissa same as yours. We’re less than an hour apart.

Rainy, mild in 50s. No white Christmas expected. Missouri.

@KNOWITALL We seldom have a white Christmas, so I don’t even expect one. We have been known to have 75 degree days for Christmas Day with 22 for New Years. We have pretty much been all over the place. We’re down to17 one night & 45 the next. I can deal with cold when it stays a consistent cold, but this up & down windy & not windy makes it difficult for my body to acclimate. I never know how to dress when leaving for the day so I’ve been layering as much as I can. The tornadoes in TN made me very nervous. Fortunately my family up there were spared.

@raum I saw vids of the flooding last night & that looks scary!!! I hope you stay safe. Please keep us updated on your situaion if things change!!!

@elbanditoroso I thought you’d be close to the same but with all the brick buildings & roadways, I thought you might be a little warmer than here. When I lived in DC, it was sometimes 20 degrees warmer in the city than where I lived in the suburbs just 8 miles away.

With all the downpours, tornadoes, or whatever going on, I felt compelled to check on others!!!

In the NY/CT area I live in, it’s been dry and in the 30’s during the day, twenties at night.

Sunday into Monday (five days ago), it was pouring and there were lots of floods around. The prediction was for possible high winds, and we had some but nothing awful. Schools here were closed on Monday due to the storm.

Here, around Boston, it’s been a weird week.

Monday was in the 60’s with a massive rain storm.

Tuesday, cloudy in the 40’s.

Rest of the week has been bright and sunny in the 30’s.

No White Christmas in my neck of New England. The torrential rains from earlier in the week has devastated many areas of Northern New England with flooding and power outages still in some area.

Denver area clear, sunny, highs near 55°F. No snow on te ground except for some of the higher peaks to the west.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

Hazy sunshine temperature unseasonable warm.

LuckyGuy's avatar

Just a touch of snow on the grass. Nothing on the roads or pavement. No wind.
In general it is a nice day to be outside.

Maryland has been pretty mild so far this year. Really only a couple days of actual cold so far. But that’s been the norm for awhile now. Supposed to be cold in Jan/Feb though thanks to El Nino.

Weather is too warm in Milwaukee. The 10-day forecast is 40s & 30s F with some rain.

I want deep snow.

JLeslie's avatar

Planning on going to the swimming pool tomorrow midday Christmas Eve.

jca2's avatar

Chilly here but not terrible. Going to be dry and unseasonably warm the whole week ahead. 40s and low 50s.

I let Cato out and sat on the porch to keep an eye on him…I swear I heard morning song birds! Like Spring!

JLeslie's avatar

Wound up being windy here, but still warm. I still wanted to go swimming, but I can’t go to the pool without my inlaws so seems it is not going to happen.

Tropical_Willie's avatar

It hit 69* F. about fifteen degrees above average.

I live in Devon in the UK and outside the weather is mild but dry and overcast this Christmas Day..

No sign of a white Christmas this year I’m afraid.

Season greetings to you all and my wish for the happiest and healthiest 2024.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if 2024 was the year of peace throughout to world

I was outsisde on the deck yesterday, repotting plants and sweeping, without a jacket on. Quite extraordinary for this time of year.
