I had Georgian food recently and it way totally insane, very flavorful. I guess I go through phases. Last year was all about Ethiopian.

Basque cuisine is a force to be reckoned with.

Sushi, uber? Don’t you have trouble eating things that are merely unconscious?

El_Cadejo's avatar

HAHAH no i like when they try and crawl out of my mouth :P a la live octopus.

I love Ethiopian food! The area of Seattle I live in has a bunch of options and they are all so very good! There’s something about eating with your hands as well!

Italian for me.

I’m a big fan of Indian food myself. I like the different curries and associated items like biryani, tikka masala, saag, vindaloo, dopiaza, and madras.

Barbecue.

Bluefreedom – oh yes, I’m with you on that one. Indian food would have to be one of my favorites. Turkish would be a close second.

Chinese. Not real Chinese, though. I like the stuff Americans call Chinese.

tigran's avatar

@MacBean: i laughed at your comment, its so true… americanized chinese food tastes pretty good (it might just be the MSG though)

dim sum

I’m with Bluefreedom – Indian is my favorite. I love the complexity of flavors and the layering of the spices. I’m a flexitarian (eat meat occasionally) but I’ve always said that Indian is the one cuisine where I really don’t need the meat at all.

Indian food is so tasty.

Indian food for me too, please.

Blech…Indian. Guh, never liked it never will. I’m a Polish food fan. There is nothing like a big plate of kraut, pierogis, kielbasa, etc. So very delicious and horrible for you.

i like italian. i also like indian but whenever i go to the indian restaurant i come out smelling like indian food.

i also like some jerk chicken.

to generalize, i’d say spicy food.

Mexican, Indian and Nouvelle are on top. Then Chinese and Thai.

Too bad, because there are Vietnamese, Cambodian and pseudo-Italian in my neighborhood.

French, Italian, and Indian, in that order. Actually, one of my favorite restaurants is run by a man who is half Italian and half Indian. He couldn’t lose in the food department.

I’ll try about anything, but “Grandma’s” is my favorite.

cooksalot's avatar

Don’t really have a favorite. I like them all.

I like all kinds of cuisine, but the best meal I have ever had was at the Norwegian buffet in Disney World. Of course, it was cold outside, getting late, and we had been walking all day, so we were famished at the time.
