How much does this piss you off?

Don’t you hate it when the audio is off on a TV show or is it just me?

I usually unmute the TV when this particular problem occurs.

I watched Smallville last season and it messed up at least once or twice on every ep! I can’t even watch it because no matter how hard I try to stare at the character’s eyes when they’re talking, I can still see their mouth in my peripherals. I just want to throw the TV out of the window..

have yall ever seen a translated Japanese movie? go watch the original Godzilla. 1 of 2 things is bound to happen. 1. you get over your obsession. or 2. You’ll be driven mad by the continued jaw movement after the English word was spoken 3 seconds ago.

Yeah I hate that. My DirecTV used to do that all the time.

Doesn’t bother me all that much, though it depends. If it’s something very well performed in native language, then yes. But if it’s chop-saki, it can just be part of the comedic ensemble. Or if the show is deficient in other ways to an equal or greater degree than the lip-sync, it’s not spoiling much for me.

Happens when I tape things on DVD, for some reason. But I have the TV muted 90% of the time.
