Your personal high note and low note of 2008?

Low: ongoing financial stress

High: Selection by the Society of Illustrators in NYC for their very prestigious “Illustrators 51” competition book & show.

Congrats on the high note!

Low- Health issues

High- My niece being born. Second highest- Election day

Low: Spending three days in the hospital with a IV in my arm. I still don’t know what was wrong. They never told me what was wrong.

High: I had casual sex.

High note: Halloween party. Grey Goose+Party+College Womenz=win

Low note: Talking to my friend who’s going through a really rough time. Both of his parents have cancer, his younger sister got pregnant then had an abortion, (a huge family fight ensued), he got fired from a job, etc.

For me personally, it’s been a pretty good year.

High Notes: New granddaughter born, took a trip to Kwajalein in the Marshall Islands.

Low Notes: My house was robbed, my daughter was diagnosed with lymphoma

2008 has been a real bi-polar year for me!!

Low: Being evicted. My mom being diagnosed with breast cancer.

High: Having a boy write a song about me and naming it after me. It’s gonna be on his bands DVD next spring if the producer okays it or something. :D

Low(s): My sister moved out of home, my Nanna had a stroke and
I went through a really rough patch with some of my closest friends and it tore me up pretty bad, a consequence of which is now I find it hard to be close to many of my friends.

High(s): Trips to melbourne to visit my sister, my maths and religion classes at school, and most of all (though I might get shot for this) my boyfriend.

Highs: Traveled Europe and road trip to Yellowstone/Tetons
Lows: Difficult break-up and 3 deaths

Low: A friend of mine was killed in January.

High: Made department head, and found Fluther! Hoo-rah.

Low: fainting in store with slow heartbeat, now have pacemaker in my chest

High; Best friend’s kid’s wedding.. saw old friends for three days straight

SRM

High: Birth of my niece and my daughter doing really well in school. Mom disapeared.

Low: Dad died. Aunt died. Uncle died. Friend died. Mom disapeared.

High: Telling my boyfriend I loved him for the first time and having him say it back.
Low: Going on birth control and having it utterly screw my body up in a million ways including gaining 20 pounds.

high – moving out my parents house and going to college
low – quitting my job and realizing how i much i miss working for a buck

Holy shit, I can’t believe I forgot the other high note until now, I got my GED less than three weeks ago…finally. And I am now enrolling in college, I’ll start in a month. :)
