Does anyone know the name of a film about a female astronaut... possibly connected to a Kurt Vonnegut book?

… she returns home to deal with family problems. I don’t know if it’s out yet but I remember looking it up and wanting to see it. It might be based on a Kurt Vonnegut book but I’m not sure.

Not sure about Kurt Vonnegut, but a similar premise is found in Haldeman’s “Forever War,” which I heartily recommend as not only good literature but a rousing good read.

Wow, I want to read this. I love Sci-fi. I’d never heard of this. But it is definitely not what I’m thinking of. This is a contemporary comic/drama I think and it just happens that she is an astronaut.
