No I haven’t. But it sounds very interesting. Do you have a book summary?

@RedPowerLady It’s a very interesting read. I won’t lie, I haven’t finished it yet.So far though she explores the current debates and perspectives people have about women and Islam but looking at their historical context from ancient times working her way up to the present world.

@laurenigula I am looking at the book description on Amazon.com right now.
This quote: “as well as correcting what she feels are erroneous assumptions made by some Western feminists” is from the book description. That made me want to read it even more!

@RedPowerLady You should absolutely read it then! I’m sure you’ll love it.

@laurenigula I just looked at all the libraries in the area. The public libraries don’t have it but the University library does!! I might just have to go and read it.

Sounds interesting. Maybe you’ll have to ask again later when we’ve all read it.

@phoenyx sounds like that’s what i’m going to have to do!
