Sorry I’m late….seems I have my legit meds out of sync with the recreational stuff and alcohol and I really couldn’t spare all those vials of blood I deposited at the doctor’s office yesterday and then I tried to keep up with @Blondesjon tossing beers during his radio show, but life can be….oops, there I go digressing before I even get to the point….sorry, I’m just a tangential old man, but where the hell did all the fucking questions come from in one day to put this one on page 4 already???
Ah, so it’s @nikipedia ‘s turn. I could be completely crazy, I guess (hey….I heard those “duhs”), but I’m going share how I see sweet niki. You know that Van Halen video for Hot for Teacher where the teacher at first has her hair up and glasses on with a loose sweater hiding a knock out figure and then transforms into a very hot babe? Some women are very capable of pulling off such a ruse. @sccrowell does it via the librarian look and I imagine niki doing it via the research lab look: perfectly white pressed lab coat, her hair up, glasses on, pencil resting on her ear, clipboard in hand. But upon leaving the lab setting, she ducks in a phone booth and well…...hell, I don’t know what she looks like (hey jp got any pics?), but based on her questions and answers on fluther I imagine her to be a super woman: obviously extremely bright, very fun and at times quite wild, probably extremely attractive….you know, the whole package. Some guys are intimidated by intelligent attractive women. To me they are so hot, that I…..oops, there I go again….this is not about me.
I do share a connection with niki. Having spent a couple of years in the microbiology/immunology labs at UCLA, killing a lot of mice and extracting cells for processing and study, I have a lot of respect for nikis graduate study and research goals. I discovered that such a path was not for me, but I was in awe of the dedication and drive exemplified by researchers and that makes niki a very, very special person in my book.
If I recall correctly, I first met niki when I got sucked into an unannounced social experiment of hers that may have gone amiss a bit. And coincidentally, my most recent exposure to a niki question, was one I also got sucked into, that being what makes oral sex good. Yes, her questions are always excellent and thought provoking and at times can be very inspirational and somewhat suggestive.
And, I think she the queen of the topic flags. Her questions are always clear and direct, but she lets loose with the topics, throwing in a “latte” or something else off the wall just to keep us on our toes. Her obvious delight in playing with the topics has resulted in me throwing in “a latte for niki” in the topics to my questions, when my old brain remembers, which, fortunately, has been most of the time.
To one of my favorite all-time jellies, CONGRATULATIONS @nikipedia on your 10K lurve milestone and admission to the 10K Lurve Lounge. I trust they serve lattes up there. If not, kindly let me know and I’ll personally see to it that your every latte desire is fulfilled, even if I have to make that damn monkey run back and forth to your favorite coffee shop and deliver them to you.
