How do I permanently disable able single key on a PC Keyboard?

Asked by srmorgan (6773points) February 22nd, 2008

I do a lot of spreadsheets at work using the number pad on the right side of the keyboard and I keep hitting the “NUM LOCK” key which turns off the number capability. It is slowing my input speed a great deal

Just pop it off?

I’d love to kill the “Windows” key. That damn key has gotten me killed so many times while gaming.

I found this…

I would just fold up a piece of paper a bunch of times and wedge it in so you can’t press it. That way if others use your work computer it won’t mess with them as you can remove the paper when you are done.

Here’s a whole web page about how to do this without physical means:

Er, assuming “PC” means Windows.
