Question about leveling up in Mafia Wars?

Asked by mathwhiz1 (264points) January 3rd, 2010

If I do the Take Control of a Casino job under the Boss level in New York, which gains me 128 experience points, but I spend 63 energy every time I do this job, do I need to get my total energy up to like 1650 or 1700 so I can continuously level up? My second question is: do the required number of experience points keep going up to get to the next level every time I level up?

I think you need to get off facebook. IMO.

It’s better to increase how fast your energy replenishes than to focus on max energy (e.g. getting mastery items like the “golden throne”). Yes, it takes more and more experience points each level.

There are other jobs to do, too. And the ratio of energy-spent to experience-gained varies. (For instance, jobs in Cuba return a lot more exp for energy spent, and I found that I would end up wasting a lot of my energy pack because I’d spent too many skill points on energy.

But yes, the amount needed goes up as you level up. I’m not sure if it’s every time, or if it stays the same for a while before it jumps, though.
