NSFW- How come I'm having two-fers lately?

Asked by ubersiren (15208points) February 12th, 2010

I think “Solve a Problem” is inaccurate for this question.

For the last two months or so, every time I have sex and have an orgasm, I wake up the next morning having another orgasm. My husband and I only get around to it once a week or so anymore (huge fetus in the belly between us) so it’s obvious that it’s not coincidence- it’s every time, and doesn’t happen in between.

What’s that about? I though nocturnal orgasms were reserved for sex deprivation… this doesn’t seem to be the case. I’m not complaining, just curious.

“Orgasms can be much different during pregnancy. Some woman will finally become orgasmic during pregnancy due to the increased fluids in the area making the clitoris and vagina more sensitive. Other women will become multi-orgasmic for the first time.”

Enjoy it while you can! The baby just might be a game changer!

Great answer above, there isn’t really much more to say.
Everything changes during pregnancy, hormones cause your body to go that little bit crazy. Aswell as just the physiological changes mentioned above, it has been shown that your brain also releases more endorphins which could be seen to increase the chances of orgasms etc.
As @Cruiser says, make the most of it ;-)

I need to get pregnant again.

That’s fantastic! Sleep-related orgasms are not just for the sex deprived. Your brain may be sensing movement in your uterus while you sleep as sexual stimulation – and then you are translating this into a sex dream. I actually did a blog post about sleep-related orgasms in Jan, but did not mention pregnancy. Congratulations! Enjoy.

This is awesome – I’ve never had that happen to me, during pregnancy – I do know that in the beginning of the pregnancies, my orgasms are much more intense.

Pregnancy turns me into a teenage boy. My husband can’t keep up lol Yay for two-fers! haha

Gods, I’m jealous.

Can I have one of those pregnancies next time? I just felt like a half-dead beached whale the entire time.

@ubersiren At least it happens when you wake up, and not at some random time during the day!

Enjoy.

THERE WAS A THREE CAR PILE UP TODAY CAUSED BY A WOMAN WITH A HUGE SMILE ON HER FACE…

@Seek_Kolinahr Oh believe me, I feel like that most of the time, too.

Don’t sweat it @ubersiren.
@dr34m3r is clearly just angry that he/she is not experiencing “two-fers”.
Maybe not even one-fers.
