Serato SL or Traktor for mapping a midi mixer and cdjs?

Asked by drpoop (83points) May 4th, 2010

hi i have two cdj1000mk3s as well as a djm 700,
i would first of all like to be able to load tracks from my newest generation macbook pro using either serato scratch live or traktor scratch,
second of all, since my mixer has a midi out, i would like to know if and how, i can map controls on either of the programs.
SO which one should i purchase? why? and how can i hook it up to achieve what i want to do?

Late with an answer here, but I love Traktor. Much easier to learn and cheaper as well; you don’t have to buy an interface or something to own it.
