Where can I go to see a real live great white shark?

Asked by erikaziger (345points) June 30th, 2010

I have heard of some tourist thing to the Farallone Islands off of the coast of SF. Are there other tours or trips you can take? Has anyone done this?

The Farallones has a new 160’ rule in place banning anyone from being close to a white sharks. You cannot chum for them either at this site.

Your best bet is Guadalupe Island we went with Shark Divers www.sharkdiver.com last year and had a blast!
