(NSFW) Questions about intimacy while infection.

Asked by sliceswiththings (11723points) July 9th, 2010

I promise this is my last question relating to my unfortunate yeast infection!

I might have the chance to get laid tomorrow. However, I have a yeast infection.
1. Is the dude in any danger of getting it if we use condoms?
2. Will it be normal for me? Everything’s super sensitive, which could be either good or bad.
3. Will it exacerbate the infection? Like shove it up higher and give me a uterine infection instead?

Thanks!

Yes, he is in danger. Don’t do it. It will be very uncomfortable, and you need rime to heal.

No, not a good idea. Yes, you need to heal.

Honor your body and it’s need for recovery. The ‘dude’ can wait, infact, he might be offended and turned off…why risk either your health or your dignity?

The dude can’t wait! He’s only in town this weekend and if it’s anything like the last time with him, it’ll be out of this world :)

@sliceswiththings I’ve risked it before, and it’s definitely not worth it. Maybe you can please him a different way?

It is very possible the guy might get exposed at the base of his penis and in his pubic area but if he uses an anti-fungal cream like the ones for athletes foot or jock itch (same stuff) after words, it is very unlikely he will develop a yeast infection. For one thing, a person has to be susceptible to get infected.

You should probably decline having him go down on you because yeast infections are associated with strong odours, wherever they occur.

Most important of all your tender tissues that are infected by the yeast will quickly become very raw and painful. Layers of skin will literally peel off and the infection will spread deep inside your vagina when the itch and soreness will likely be unbearable.

It is a shame to miss an opportunity to be laid but if you want to enjoy some intense naked cuddling, and have him suck on tour breasts and rub your clitoris to bring your to orgasm, and then you could use your hands and/or mouth on his penis, he is sure to come back for more, when your yeast infection is fully resolved.

Alternatively, I’ve had it for several days (it’s an antibiotics caused one), and tomorrow’s my last day of antibiotics. If I quickly Monistat in the morning maybe I’ll be set by evening?

@jonsblond I don’t want to please him, I just want more of the best sex ever :( :(

umm whatever you do, if you care about him at all, DO NOT let him go down on you!!! i don’t remember the exact circumstances but i had some sort of yeast or bacterial infection, and he ended up with a sore throat, which required some embarrassing medical attention (luckily he knew someone who worked in a hospital and was able to get him some antibiotics…).

Don’t worry, I wasn’t going to let his mouth anywhere near it. Or hands for that matter.

Two words: plain yogurt

sliceswiththings's avatar

@CaptainHarley I really hope you don’t use yogurt during sex.

sliceswiththings's avatar

Thanks @Dr_Lawrence for a GA. You had me at “peel off.”

RandomMrdan's avatar

I guess you could just do anal right?

Dr_Lawrence's avatar

Yes they could.

I had to have a talk with a boasting younger friend of mine once, explaining that female cum generally does not look like white chunky goo.

Guys: sex with a woman that has a yeast infection is a bad idea. I’ve experienced it, and it’s not something I would ever put myself through again. Embarrassing doctor visits and prescription creams are not fun.

CaptainHarley's avatar

Plain yogurt stops yeast infections. I thought everyone knew that. Sex with a woman who has a yeast infection is problematic. Oral sex with a woman who has a yeast infection is NOT advised. Ladies, please let your partner know when you have a yeast infection.

Just hold off. It’s only one week of no sex so you can heal.

just ask your guy what he thinks and if he wouldn’t mind!!!! that’s just gross specially if u are getting any vaginal discharge and very uncomfortable for you :o

sliceswiththings's avatar

Humph. After all that he didn’t even come to town. All for the better though. Thanks for all your answers!

sliceswiththings's avatar

@CaptainHarley Yes we do all know that but that’s not what this question is about. Sadly nothing cures it immediately.

Heh! Ok. : )
