We went to thrift stores this year. A few things we did buy online because the deals were wonderful.

I did it all online this year!
What’s a high street store?

For the most part. I bought my mom a Precious Moment and we’re also getting her some Broncos stuff. My stepdad is getting a Telescope. My little brother got a pack of 45 DS styluses (3 bucks thanks to Ebay) and some other DS stuff. My sister is just getting some accessories and money. The boyfriend is getting some stuff from thinkgeek.com and some stuff from Bestbuy which I’m ordering online, but picking up in the store.

I do almost all my shopping on line. It is insane easy if you know what you are wanting!

Never give your credit card numbers to anyone or company online. there are hackers in foreign countries that are just waiting in the shadows to drain your bank accounts. and they do this everyday. no credit card useage for Christmas presents online this year for this person.

@john65pennington That’s why you buy from places you know are secure and not from just any random website that has what you want.

None of it online. I usually go out with one of my girlfriends and we shop together.

@scamp – A “high street store” is UK-speak for a big department store like Macy’s or Nordstrom.

Everyone’s getting a hug if I see them and a card if I don’t. I don’t have $$ for gifts this year.

Mostly online. I’ve never gone wrong ordering from Zappos.com because they’ve got free shipping and I can order several of the same item, pick the best fit and send the rest back, free. Amazon.com is okay, the shipping was a bit steep though so I ordered from Barnes & Noble. Darned thinkgeek.com was sold out of most of the items I wanted and really let me down by not having an audio box in the Chewbacca slippers :(
