Which hotel should my mom stay in in San Francisco?

Asked by emilyrose (2272points) October 10th, 2010

My mom is coming to visit and I would like to find a hotel that is: reasonably priced, close to the N line, and preferably near Upper Haight/Cole Valley. She loves Kabuki but they are full the weekend she is coming.

Try the Hotel Majestic on Gough St. in the heart of Japantown. If that doesn’t suit her, then I recommend checking out hotels.com. Their search engine is really helpful and you can see results on a map.

Having lived in the upper Haight, there’s not much near I’d recommend. We usually had friends stay at the Marina Inn on Lombard for price and easy access to buses and the trolleys.
