If you’re like me, you’ve often asked yourself why apple has not added bluetooth capability to their iPod touch

If you’re talking about listening to music via a bluetooth receiver, my understanding is that bluetooth can’t be transmit and/or amplify a stereo signal.

the most recent versions of Bluetooth definitely do support stereo. but apple has a very minimalist philosophy, and they never add a feature without considering all the implications. adding Bluetooth means shorter battery life. more settings to deal with. pairing the Bluetooth headset an dealing with interference. all very un-apple. when they see how to use Bluetooth for something more than just cutting the headphone cord, thats when we’ll see Bluetooth in an iPod.
