It been said but no confirmation their going to make the 120 gig with should include the dual shock controller however the only difference between this console and the 40 gig is space and the dual shock controller. So I myself don’t think it going to be worth it but hey some people actually like the dual shock. What would anybody need all that room for? Modding?

I am not interested in the dual shock either, my company sells PS3’s with a Linux OS pre-installed and our clients like more storage.

if you want a larger hd buy a laptop hd data and throw it in there. More storage less money

Yes, we know this, but clients like internal storage. I keep hearing rumors about the new model. Wondered if others had heard the same thing.

I am talking about an internal hd. The ps3 uses sata. Buy a bigger hd if you want one. Pop a 250gb in there.

Sorry, misread. Switching out HD would void the Sony warranty. :(

As long as the larger model ( if produced) has some form of backwards compatability, I will have no problem with it, and might actually get it.

@iriemuffin doesnt installing a Linux OS void the warranty too though?

Amazingly, at this point, no. As long as you don’t open the unit up or mess with the game OS.
