Is there a way to delete PM's on the iPhones Facebook app?

So I want to delete things I have sent and received on Facebook , I use the iPhone app and noticed there was no ” delete ” option .
If there’s no way then that’s something they should sort.

Ok so how do you delete friends using the app?
I really need to clean up my friendslist , asked the people to delete me but as of yet they haven’t . Any help???

@sandystrachan To delete friends you must visit the full Facebook website on your iPhone using the Safari app.
