How is Virgin America Airlines doing?

I don’t know how their revenue is doing against other low-fare airlines, but I just booked a couple of flights with them a few hours ago and the fares are dirt cheap. I have heard many good things about the flying experience with them. I really hope they stick around; judging by the super easy and pleasant user experience I had on the website, they seem to really know what customers want.

I booked a flight in June from LAX to SFO and it was less than $40 each way. So I’d imagine with those kind of prices, and the really nice amenities they give you even without “upgrading” they probably aren’t doing too badly. If only they’d serve more areas, they’d probably hit the goldmine.
