Is there a way to contact itunes, explain what happened and see if they can send you the downloads again….

Seriously, call them. They are very helpful. I had some trouble with my IPod last year and they walked me through everything and were very nice and polite. Go to their website to get the phone number.

Apple Support

It’s not highly publicized but you will get one shot to redownload your entire history of itunes purchases in one go if you get a hold of their support and explain to them what happened. But this will mean ALL purchases, not just your missing episodes so it’d be quite a wait.

After that, you are completely SOL if anything like that happens again. It’s why iTunes continually drills it in your head that you need to back up your library because they are not obliged to do you any favors.

Well I fired off an email crap, never thought i would use the words “fired off an email” to them, and told them specifically what it was that i lost. IDK, but as soon as i download the episodes I’m backing up my whole PC. 500 gig’s takes a while, but i’m not taking any chances. Plus, my external drive is 1 TB
