Gmail - delete multiple emails - no select all line?

Asked by cekkk (4points) February 25th, 2011

How do I delete all? The problem is that my gmail pages don’t have that line below Archive, Report Spam, etc. Instead, my first email is immediately below. That is true for the inbox, sent mail, spam, trash. Control/shift won’t hilite everything in between a top and a bottom hilite. And life is too short to click individually. I’m going to fill up my space allowance unnecessarily.

Select all the emails on the first page with the universal check box and the line will appear below to select everything.

(You must have a lot of emails… I have about 50,000 mod emails archived and have not hit the max allowed.)

@Dog is correct – there should be a small check box on the same line as the Archive, Report Spam, etc. buttons that allows you to select all.
